The Du Quoin Indians were selected as the Team of the Week after a 28-14 win over Murphysboro that improved them to 5-4 on the season and earned them the 10 seed in the 3A Southern Bracket of the IHSA Playoffs. Monday night was Herrin Girls Basketball's first game back from a COVID pause. The Tigers beat Murphysboro 59-24 behind a career-best 26 from Presli Karnes.
