The West Frankfort Redbirds stunned Nashville last Friday night 50-41 for their first win of the conference season and were named Team of the Week thanks to the big upset. The Lady Vols opened the season at State Fair Community College last week going 0-2. Despite that, Coach Charlie Jones sees reason to be encouraged in his young team. He and star center Cheyenne Trotter joined Talkin Vols on Tuesday.

John A. Logan women's basketball coach Charlie Jones joined the program Tuesday night. He discussed a huge win at Shawnee this past Saturday, Wednesday's game against Rend Lake College, and the team avoiding hitting a wall.
