It was announced Tuesday that John A. Logan men's golf coach Tom Ferris will be inducted into the Golf Coaches Association of America Hall of Fame, considered the highest honor a collegiate coach can receive. Ferris joined Mike Murphy Tuesday night to discuss the honor:
The Hamilton County Foxes were selected as the SIH Team of the Week after defeating Carterville on the road 57-55. They continued that success the following week at the Benton Invitational with a signature win over Pinckneyville. Mike Murphy, Scott Hudson, and the Intern discussed the surprise run of the St. Peter's Peacocks in this year's NCAA Tournament on Saturday, before they had been eliminated and the craziness of March Madness:
The Logan men's basketball team came out on Monday with their hair on fire. That got them the win over Lake Land in the Region 24 Tournament, now they have to contend with their nemesis, #4 Vincennes, Wednesday night.
