John A. Logan Baseball coach Kyle Surprenant joined Talkin Vols after his team won at Dyersburg State 16-4.  That makes the #8 Vols 24-2 on the year and winners of 19 straight!

The Carbondale Terriers bounced back from a devastating 49-7 blowout loss to Murphysboro in Week 1 with a massive 23-10 upset win over Mt. Vernon in Week 2.  Coach Bryan Lee talked about that turn around, what the focus leading in to the game with Mt. The Johnston City Indians had to fight for a win over #14 Auburn last week but they came out on top 16-8.  Now they're headed to #11 Breese (Mater Dei) this Saturday, a team that presents a lot of problems.  Matt Varney and head coach of the Indians, Todd Thomas, discussed both games and solutions to the Breese Mater Dei Knights.
