John A Logan men's basketball coach Kyle Smithpeters joined Sportsvoice on Saturday and discussed Sunday's Midwest Jamboree and the upcoming season:

The guys talked about several of the big Week 3 high school football games and also about the weather delays the area saw on Friday night as well as SIU's upcoming home opener against #12 UIW Saturday night!  Plus an interview with Marion coach Jason Dunning after their big 37-34 win at Mt. Vernon last night!

SIU Football coach Nick Hill talked to the media on Monday.  He and Matt Varney discussed what went wrong at Youngstown State and his quarterback Nic Baker closing in on history.
