Saturday morning, Mike Murphy and Scott Hudson opened the show discussing what the Cardinals should do at this point in the season.  One of the suggestions?  Trade away one of the star corner infielders:

Matt Varney sat down with the new coach of the Pinckneyville Panthers, Matt Laur, on Friday – just days after the former Freeburg coach was hired by the Pinckneyville school board as their next Athletic Director, Dean of Students, and head boys’ basketball coach.  They covered a variety of topics including the history of Pinckneyville basketball, how daunting is it to step in to the role of Panthers head coach, his son Ty who will join the team, how he plans to run the team, and a whole lot more:

The John A. Logan College baseball and softball programs received a large donation from the Harrison Bruce Foundation on Thursday morning.  The donation will go to the construction of a brand new player development center, located between the two teams' fields.  Matt Varney caught up with Vols baseball coach Kyle Surprenant after the check presentation.
