Marion's Evan Noelle signed with John A. Logan men's basketball Thursday morning. Matt Varney talked with Noelle about joining the defending national champion Volunteers after he made things official:
The Lady Vols opened the season at State Fair Community College last week going 0-2. Despite that, Coach Charlie Jones sees reason to be encouraged in his young team. He and star center Cheyenne Trotter joined Talkin Vols on Tuesday.
Larry Warner is back at SIU as their running backs coach and he joined Sportsvoice on Location with Mike Murphy and Paxton Guy on Saturday before the SIU Spring Game:

The Murphysboro Red Devils are taking advantage of the IHSA's new rules that allow 11-on-11 scrimmages this week. Voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, met with Coach Gary Carter Thursday evening before their first scrimmage with Marion and discussed the new 11-on-11 scrimmages and some of the new additions to the team that have Murphysboro excited for the coming season:
