Thursday night Herrin's school board hired Stephanie Allen as their next athletic director, marking the first time the Herrin Athletic Department will be headed up by a woman. Monday night, Benton girls' basketball star Ensley Tedeschi signed her letter of intent to play for John A. Logan women's basketball. Matt Varney was at Rich Herrin Gymnasium and talked with both Tedeschi and coach of the Lady Vols, Amanda Shelby, about the signing, joining other local stars at Logan, and more:
