They also discussed the highly anticipated game at Harrisburg, their first home playoff game since 2015, against Peoria Notre Dame this Saturday night at 5pm.
The Harrisburg Bulldogs picked up a huge win at Carterville in Week 6 of the season, pulling off a 66-yard pass late to secure a 29-28 victory over the Lions. That puts the Bulldogs in the driver's seat for an SIRR Ohio Division conference title as they prepare to take on undefeated Murphysboro in Week 7. The John A. Logan College baseball and softball programs received a large donation from the Harrison Bruce Foundation on Thursday morning. The donation will go to the construction of a brand new player development center, located between the two teams' fields. Matt Varney caught up with Vols baseball coach Kyle Surprenant after the check presentation.
