Brad Norman was announced as the next Head Golf Coach at Murphysboro on Wednesday this week. The move came as a shock to some as Norman has revived the Chester Yellowjackets boys basketball program and made it in to a regular powerhouse in the Black Diamond West. Brad Norman joined Murphysboro earlier this spring as Head Golf Coach and assistant basketball coach. He took the reins on Wednesday at the Benton Summer Shootout and led the Red Devils to a 2-1 record in pool play, getting wins over Jerseyville and Freeburg.
