Ron Winemiller of Benton Basketball talks with Matt Varney about preparing for the 2020-21 basketball season with the new IHSA guidelines, working around other sports' schedules to make sure everyone gets their games and events in, the potential for the team in the upcoming season, and the possibility of a shot clock being added at the high school level!

 

Brad Norman joined Murphysboro earlier this spring as Head Golf Coach and assistant basketball coach.  He took the reins on Wednesday at the Benton Summer Shootout and led the Red Devils to a 2-1 record in pool play, getting wins over Jerseyville and Freeburg.  He and the voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, discussed the day and joining the program:
