Tuesday to Sunday Mid - 6am

It's our Campaign for Kindness! Today, we send a salute to Val Hodges in Harrisburg. Here's the letter we received about Val, and the work she's doing to keep school kids fed with nutritious food!
We send out 13,000 meals every week. Every bag has 5 breakfast items & 5 lunch items.
It's a team of us that do it every week. On Fridays, a team of 25 meet and fill the shelf-stable bags. On Mondays, another team goes to 9 sites to deliver. On the days in between, Val and the cooks work to get the fresh vegetables ready and the frozen items bagged up.
This is a picture of Val's facebook post today. The kitchen staff is getting thousands of veggies washed up and bagged for next Monday's distribution."
If you know someone who's doing something kind for others, let us know! CLICK HERE and fill out the form at the bottom of the page! Takes about 60 seconds! Thank you, and let's continue to Broadcast the Good!
It's time for Veterans on Parade! A time to honor our nation's true heroes... our veterans! Make sure to add it to your events! Saturday, October 17th, in downtown Marion. This year, there are some modifications being put in place for everyone's safety. I was able to talk about Veterans on Parade with organizer Ed Davis on today's #KiTC Morning Show. (Scroll down for the interview)
Here's a list of guidelines for Veterans on Parade from their facebook page:
I had a chance to talk with Landin Williams from Desoto on today's Kent in the Country Morning Show! Landin goes to school at Desoto Grade School, and according to his grandmother, Michelle, he goes fishin' every day after school. If you have gone fishin' with your kids lately, share a picture in our "Gone Fishin'" photo gallery with Harrison's Sport Shop! Just CLICK HERE!
