Clare and Dale are gone, and now it's Taysia time!  A new bachelorette, with 16 guys...no, wait... 20 guys!  What!? Who!?  Things change on this show quicker than I change my order at the drive-thru!  My wife joined me on the show this morning with an update on where the show is now, and where it's going! It's the 2nd most unrealistic reality show in all of TV, ABC's the Bachelorette!  This week, one of my biggest pet peeves about the show occurred... a dude came walking back on the show after being booted off!  WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN!? Plus, the group date involved a lie detector test.  Interesting results from the dudes.  My wife joined me on the show today to break it down...

I had an opportunity to talk with Pastor Melissa McKinnies from Southern Illinois Worship Center on today's #KiTC Morning Show about something GOOD!  In my never-ending search to "Broadcast the Good", I'm always looking for cool things happening in the community!  This year, Easter is lookin' a little different.  No Easter Egg hunts with the kiddos. (Bummer) So, the folks at Southern Illinois Worship Center teamed up with Senator Dale Fowler and the Fowler-Bonan Foundation with local businesses to create an Easter "Goodie-Bag" with a coloring book, new crayons, free ice cream, and more!  These bags were distributed to the Harrisburg, Carterville, and Cairo school districts earlier this week.  There will also be a pick-up location at Southside Lumber in Herrin starting today through Saturday while supplies last.  (Only go out on an essential run) And, don't miss our Rise Above It Community Easter Service on the radio, and online, this Easter Sunday morning at 7AM!

Tanner Sheldon, aka "Turtle Boi", is 14-years-old from Harrisburg, IL, and is a master scuba diver.  He is also extremely passionate about keeping Southern Illinois beautiful!  He regularly spends days picking up bags of trash from the country roads throughout Saline County.  I had a chance to talk with Tanner on this morning's Kent in the Country Morning Show,  and he was able to showcase his "Earth Day Challenge" for 2022.  Starting April 1st, and running through May 1st, take a picture with a sack of trash that you've picked up, share it with the hastag, #turtleboi, and you could win some pretty cool prizes!  CLICK HERE for the Turtle Boi official facebook page for more details!  Here's the interview from today's show, Tanner will tell ya' more!
