1.) Masks must be worn at all times, unless you are in a privately owned vehicle and are only riding with members of your immediate
household. Anytime you exit that vehicle, a mask must be worn.
2.) If you are in a vehicle, or riding on a float/trailer, with any person, who is not a member of your immediate household, you must
wear a mask at all times. If you are riding on a float/trailer, please try to maintain some social distance. If you exit that vehicle,
float/trailer for any reason, you must wear a mask.
3.) If you have any symptoms before or on the day of the parade, please do not attend this event and put others at risk.
4.) We are not encouraging veteran/participants to walk in this years parade, however, if there are some who wish to march/walk
in this years event, you must wear a mask for the entire length of the parade and social distance yourselves. There are no
exceptions to this rule.
5.) We will not allow any touching, handshaking, hugging, kissing, hand slapping, fist-bumping or bodily contact of any kind amongst
parade participants and spectators along the parade route, not in the staging area while preparing the lineup. Fraternizing with
anyone in the staging areas is not encouraged, however, it must occur in a social distance.
6.) The distribution of candy along the parade route will be allowed , however, you must agree to the following:
a.) Candy must be individually wrapped/packaged.
b.) The bag of candy must remain sealed until you begin to throw it to the crowd.
c.) Prior to opening the candy, use a generous amount of hand sanitizer or put on a pair of new, sterile/medical disposable gloves.
d.) Once you begin throwing the candy, please don't touch any person, object or your face with your hands. If you do, you must
re-sanitize your hands or put on a new pair of gloves prior to touching and distributing the candy.
7.) Those veterans being driven by a volunteer driver, please get the permission of that individual regarding your wearing a mask or
not, for their safety and yours. Please adhere to their decision, no matter what it may be.
8.) All participants will be requested to read these rules/protocols and sign their name that they are in total agreement and understand
the reasons for complying with them in full.
