Well, my Aunt Verna had an interesting thought for today's #KiTC Morning Show... a tie-breaking pay-per-view event!  I don't think that will happen.  And, I really don't want to think about either candidate showing up in a wrestling singlet.  I'll pay money NOT to see that!  But, she reassured us that hey, everything is gonna be alright!  Here's her phone call from today's #KiTC Morning Show!

Tanner Sheldon, aka "Turtle Boi", is 14-years-old from Harrisburg, IL, and is a master scuba diver.  He is also extremely passionate about keeping Southern Illinois beautiful!  He regularly spends days picking up bags of trash from the country roads throughout Saline County.  I had a chance to talk with Tanner on this morning's Kent in the Country Morning Show,  and he was able to showcase his "Earth Day Challenge" for 2022.  Starting April 1st, and running through May 1st, take a picture with a sack of trash that you've picked up, share it with the hastag, #turtleboi, and you could win some pretty cool prizes!  CLICK HERE for the Turtle Boi official facebook page for more details!  Here's the interview from today's show, Tanner will tell ya' more!

It's our Campaign for Kindness!  Today, we send a salute to Val Hodges in Harrisburg.  Here's the letter we received about Val, and the work she's doing to keep school kids fed with nutritious food!

"Val Hodges runs Harrisburg's food program at our school district. She spends countless hours that no one even knows about getting things done behind the scenes for our food that goes out every week.

We send out 13,000 meals every week. Every bag has 5 breakfast items & 5 lunch items.

It's a team of us that do it every week. On Fridays, a team of 25 meet and fill the shelf-stable bags. On Mondays, another team goes to 9 sites to deliver. On the days in between, Val and the cooks work to get the fresh vegetables ready and the frozen items bagged up.

This is a picture of Val's facebook post today. The kitchen staff is getting thousands of veggies washed up and bagged for next Monday's distribution."

If you know someone who's doing something kind for others, let us know!  CLICK HERE and fill out the form at the bottom of the page!  Takes about 60 seconds!  Thank you, and let's continue to Broadcast the Good!
