The Marion Wildcats finish the 2024-25 season as the John A. Logan College SI Basketball Poll’s #1 team following a big win over Mt. Vernon on Friday – guaranteeing a share of the South 7 Conference title to Marion, Centralia, and Mt. Vernon.
Centralia’s not too far behind at #2, receiving three first place votes in our final poll of the year.
The Pinckneyville Panthers won the SIRR Mississippi Division with a 56-55 win over Benton on Friday night – finishing the regular season series 2-1 against the Rangers. The win moves Pinckneyville to #3 and above Mt. Vernon in the end-of-season poll.
