Saturday afternoon, college basketball insider Jeff Goodman reported that Texas State forward Davion Sykes is transferring to SIU. Sykes seemed to confirm the report by retweeting it on his own profile.
Texas State transfer Davion Skyes @davionsykes22 has committed to Southern Illinois, his agent Chris Wash @TXRecruited told @TheFieldOf68.
Skyes averaged 11.2 points, 6.9 rebounds for the Bobcats last season.

Sykes has two seasons of eligibility remaining. He started 19 games in two seasons with the Bobcats.
Sykes was a three-star prospect out of high school. He is the fourth player to commit to Scott Nagy’s Salukis since he took the job on March 28.
