John A. Logan Baseball coach Kyle Surprenant joined Talkin Vols after his team won at Dyersburg State 16-4. That makes the #8 Vols 24-2 on the year and winners of 19 straight!
Logan baseball opens the season on February 2nd, 2024 at Hinds Community College. The Vols will be led by returning ace Drew Pestka - who was selected in the 18th round of the MLB Draft last year before ultimately deciding to return to Logan. The Du Quoin Indians were selected as the Team of the Week after a 28-14 win over Murphysboro that improved them to 5-4 on the season and earned them the 10 seed in the 3A Southern Bracket of the IHSA Playoffs.
