MURPHYSBORO, Ill. (WJPF) – A man has pleaded guilty to murdering his wife last year in Carbondale.

Prosecutors say Gregory Hopkins, 30, killed his wife, Gloria Hopkins, 26, in January 2022 at a home in the 1100 block of East College Street.

Gregory Hopkins then fled to Los Angeles where he was arrested.
