CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – Two Carbondale men have been arrested as the result of ongoing investigation into illegal guns.

Jakobi Shered, 19, and  Chonta Stidhum, 20, were both arrested Friday at a home in the 300 block of South Oakland Avenue for the unlawful possession of a firearm. Carbondale Police say multiple guns were also seized at that time.

Jakobi Shered and Chonta Stidhum were taken to the Jackson County Jail.
