Murphysboro Softball has been led by junior slugger Sarah Cook this entire season and this past weekend she set the career record for career runs-batted-in.
The junior shortstop batted in two runs on Saturday in a 10-9 loss to Nashville and and another run in a 5-4 loss to Breese Central, bringing her career total to 111 RBIs.
Cook and the Red Devils (10-10, 7-1) have an important conference matchup against Benton (11-10, 2-6) Monday night at 4:30 p.m.
