It’s time for another Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois!  Mission #9 will take off from Veteran’s Airport just before 6AM on Tuesday, October 4th!  Our nation’s true heroes, our veterans, will fly to Washington, DC, tour the memorials dedicated in their honor, and then return home later that evening.  You, and your family, are invited to the welcome home celebration!  Food trucks, music, fun, and a heroes welcome!  Parking available at the Sam’s Club/Cornerstone Church parking lot, and Rides Mass Transit will shuttle every 20 minutes!  Let’s show our appreciation for our veterans!  Things get started about 5PM and run until approximately 9PM!  I had an opportunity to talk with Evan Youngblood, Amanda Throgmorton, and Debbie Hogg on today’s Kent in the Country Morning Show about the welcome home celebration…
