CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – Often used to deter theft, a security camera was stolen from a Carbondale home.

The camera was taken at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday from a home in the 700 block of South Taylor Drive.

Carbondale Police say this is the second report in a week of a security camera being swiped.
