At a recent Carbondale school board meeting, Terriers basketball coach Troy Barton turned in his resignation as both coach and teacher.

Barton was hired in May 2021 to head the program after Jim Miller’s retirement.  Barton led the Terriers to a 7-16 record in his one season as head coach.
