After two weeks of high school basketball, the top three teams of Southern Illinois seem to be solidified as Nashville, Centralia, and Mt. Vernon have not budged from their pedastals.
Pinckneyville made a large leap from #7 to #4 after a championship trip at the Kaskaskian Classic this past week. Murphysboro leapt from #9 to #7 after their 4-0 start to the season at the Ernie Bozarth Memorial Tournament.
Herrin debuts in the Top 10 this season in a tie with Carterville for #8 after shocking Breese Central on Saturday. The Cougars, as a result, drop to #10.
