The Herrin Tigers clinched a share of the SIRR Ohio Division conference championship on Tuesday night after a 25-16, 25-21 sweep of Murphysboro, improving to 7-0 in the Ohio Division. John Homan caught up with coach Karen Jurich, senior libero Kelsey Jurich, and junior Presli Karnes, who led the team in kills with 12, after the big win:

Brad Norman joined Murphysboro earlier this spring as Head Golf Coach and assistant basketball coach. He took the reins on Wednesday at the Benton Summer Shootout and led the Red Devils to a 2-1 record in pool play, getting wins over Jerseyville and Freeburg. Anthony Hargrove is entering his fourth season as head coach of the Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton co-op football team.
