It’s the Pledge of Allegiance Kid-of-the-Day!  Now parents, you can send in a video of your child doing to the pledge to our New Country Z100 Facebook page!  Please include their name, town, and where they go to school!  We’ll use the audio from your video message to share your kid’s pledge with everyone listening!

I had an opportunity to talk with Dr. Mathew Winkleman with SIH on today's #KiTC Morning Show.  Here at New Country Z100 and River Radio Group, we are doing our best to present facts, not fear.  1st thing is this, don't go out unless you absolutely have to.  Now is the time where social distancing is more important than ever!

It's our Campaign for Kindness!  Today, we send a salute to Val Hodges in Harrisburg.  Here's the letter we received about Val, and the work she's doing to keep school kids fed with nutritious food!

"Val Hodges runs Harrisburg's food program at our school district. She spends countless hours that no one even knows about getting things done behind the scenes for our food that goes out every week.

We send out 13,000 meals every week. Every bag has 5 breakfast items & 5 lunch items.

It's a team of us that do it every week. On Fridays, a team of 25 meet and fill the shelf-stable bags. On Mondays, another team goes to 9 sites to deliver. On the days in between, Val and the cooks work to get the fresh vegetables ready and the frozen items bagged up.
