CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — An arrest has been made in connection to a report of shots fired in Carbondale.

Police were called to the 1100 block of East Walnut Street around 8:30 a.m. Friday after a report of a single gunshot fired.

An investigation led to the arrest of Sedrick Summers. He’s being held in the Jackson County Jail on charges of Reckless Discharge of a Firearm and Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
