There are nearly 50 new cases of Covid-19 in Southern Illinois.

Bi-County Health Department reports 11 new cases, the Southern Seven Health Department 25 new cases and the Jackson County Health Department has 13 new cases.

Additionally, Bi-County officials report the death of a male in his 70s from Williamson County.

The state is reporting 1,230 new cases, including 18 deaths.
