SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (IRN) — Illinois joins 22 states in reaching an agreement with PayPal Charitable Giving Fund Inc.

Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul says the settlement ensures donors receive adequate information when making charitable contributions through the company’s platform.

PayPal will also pay $200,000 to the National Association of Attorneys General for its Charities Enforcement and Training Fund.
