A Missouri man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover crash near rural Murphysboro.

According to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Jamie Wright was driving Eastbound on the Ava blacktop near Wece Lane Sunday evening when his car left the road wand rolled multiple times.

Wright was not wearing a seat belt. He was ejected from the car.

He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
