A Chester Police Officer is recovering from a head injury he suffered in the line of duty.

24 year old officer Seth Buch received a concussion while responding to a disturbance call Saturday.

Officials say it was a 17 year old male juvenile that hit the officer in the head. He was detained for aggravated battery of a police officer and resisting a peace officer.

18 year old Kristy Johnson and a 16 year old male juvenile were also charged with obstructing justice.

Buch was taken to a St Louis Hospital for treatment.
