(WJPF) – The national weather service confirms that an EF-1 tornado touched down in Alexander and Pulaski counties on Sunday.

According to the NWS, the twister had peak winds of 105 miles per hour. winds and an 18.2-mile-long track.

The tornado began near the Mississippi River in Missouri and moved east-northeast for about 18 miles. Multiple trees were damaged. A few buildings had roof damage.
