JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – The Jackson County State’s Attorney race has been decided.

The race between Joe Cervantez and Marsha Cascio-Hale ended in a tie on election night with both receiving 10,805 votes.

Democrat Marsha Cascio-Hale has won the race following the counting of provisional ballots. 

Cascio-Hale received 10,911 votes and Joe Cervantez received 10,872.
