MT. VERNON, Ill. (WJPF) – A man is facing multiple charges after an investigation in Mt. Vernon.

On Thursday July 11th around 2:15pm, a search warrant was served in the 1200 block of S 27th St.

48 year old Stephen Warren was taken into custody during the investigation.

During the search, 15 firearms, ammunition, multiple quantities of methamphetamine, and drug equipment were located and seized as evidence.

Warren faces charges of aggravated possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine 5-15 grams and possession of firearms with a revoked FOID. 

He remains in the Jefferson County Jail.
