HERRIN, Ill. (WJPF) – A man faces drug charges after a traffic stop in Herrin.
On February 4 just before 8pm, deputies observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations near the intersection of 13th Street and Poplar Street.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Eric Aderholt.
A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted that led officers to the discovery of a plastic bag containing a white substance that later tested positive for Methamphetamine.
Aderholt was arrested and cited for Possession of Methamphetamine, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, and Disobeying a Stop Sign.
Aderholt remains in custody in the Williamson County Jail.
