PADUCAH, Ky. (WJPF) – A Cairo man is facing a long list of charges after police say he fired a gun outside of a mall in Paducah, Kentucky.
Anthony Williams, 37, faces one count of attempted murder, five counts of wanton endangerment, one count of marijuana possession, and one county of drug paraphernalia possession.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Williams and another person were involved in an argument in the food court area of the Kentucky Oaks Mall. After the argument turned physical in the mall parking lot, Williams is said to have grabbed a handgun out of his car and fired it at the other person involved in the argument. Police say Williams then got into his car and then drove off. No injuries were reported.
Anthony Williams was arrested a few minutes later. Police found a handgun in his car.
