The Illinois High School Association announced their “IHSA Rivalry Series presented by Planet Fitness” will return during the 2023-24 school year on Tuesday morning.  The partnership will kickoff with six marquee matchups on the gridiron this fall, including the Week 8 matchup at Carbondale between the Terriers and the Marion Wildcats on Friday, October 13.

“Illinois is home to some of the oldest and most decorated high school rivalries in the country and we appreciate Planet Fitness recognizing these points of pride within our school communities,” said IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson.

Fans will be able to see the Terriers-Wildcats matchup highlighted on IHSA.org and IHSA social media.
