CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – Carbondale Police are investigating a fight at an exhibition basketball game.

Hundreds of people gathered Saturday night at the Dentmon Center to watch an alumni game between former Carbondale and Murphysboro high school athletes.  At about 9:45 p.m., Carbondale Police received a report of a large fight, involving knives, at the Dentmon Center.  After the fight was broken up by CPD officers, police say no one at the scene cooperated with the investigation.  No knives were found and no injuries reported.  Police left without making an arrest.

The Dentmon Center hosted another exhibition alumni game Sunday night between former Carbondale and Cairo athletes. No disturbances were reported.
