CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man was taken to jail after police found a loaded gun in his car during a traffic stop.

Keishawn Wright, 26, was pulled over around 12:40 a.m. Sunday on New Era Road.

Wright was charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and also faces charges for driving with a suspended license and not having insurance.
