MURPHYSBORO, Ill. (WJPF) – A Murphysboro woman is facing multiple felony charges after she brought a gun to the Jackson County Courthouse.

Murphysboro Police say Marjorie Parrish, 40, showed up armed at the courthouse around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.  No injuries were reported.

Parrish was arrested on charges including making a terrorist threat, threatening a public official, and aggravated assault.  She was taken across the street to the Jackson County Jail.
