PULASKI COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – The names of those involved in a fatal crash in Pulaski County have been released.

The investigation indicated that a truck tractor semi trailer driven by 68 year old Richard Collins from Troy, MI struck another semi trailer driven by 44 year old Nicholas Bowling of Rush, KY when he was stopped for traffic on Interstate 57. The accident happened on Thursday a little after 4:30 pm.

The second semi trailer struck  the rear of a third trailer driven by 58 year old Dexter Dantzler of Chicago and a fourth was struck driven by 30 year old Luis Quintana of Fort Lupton, CO.

Richard Collins was pronounced deceased on scene.

The drivers of the second and third semi trailers were treated for minor injuries and the driver of the last trailer reported no injuries.
