Here’s the good news for your day!  We say congratulations to 7-year -old Hallie McFarland from Thompsonville, IL as she took home a 1st place trophy from this year’s Illinois State Fiddle Contest held in Effingham this past weekend.  Hallie competed in the beginner category, and performed The Golden Anniversary Waltz.
