One former Salukis is headed to the Canadian Football League.  Chester native Jordan Berner, who played a key role at defensive end since his freshman season in 2017 when he played in 11 games, was signed by the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Wednesday.

Berner finished with the 7th most career sacks in Saluki history at 17.5.

This past season, Berner finished with 32 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.  Through his career, Berner recorded 144 tackles, 33.5 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, and 5 fumble recoveries.
