FALL 2021 COMMENCEMENT
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2021
In an effort to keep graduates and their guests safe, while providing a meaningful in-person Commencement experience, we made the decision to split Commencement into two ceremonies. Graduates should attend the ceremony for their college/school, as outlined below.
11 A.M. CEREMONY
- College of Agricultural, Life, and Physical Sciences
- College of Business and Analytics
- College of Engineering, Computing, Technology, and Mathematics
- School of Law
- School of Medicine
2 P.M. CEREMONY
- College of Arts and Media
- College of Health and Human Sciences
- College of Liberal Arts
- School of Education
LOCATION: Banterra Center, 1400 Arena Drive, Carbondale, IL
At this time, there is no limit to guests. All seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis (no tickets required). To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, the commencement ceremony will be compliant with the Restore Illinois Plan. All participants and guests will be required to have a face mask.
Plans could change if restrictions are increased. Significant updates will be emailed to students, as well as posted on the Commencement website and on social media.
