CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (WJPF) — One person is dead after a shooting in Cape Girardeau.

Police say it happened at about 12:35 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Giboney and Hickory Streets. 

A 39-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s has not been released. No arrests have been announced.
