PADUCAH, Ky. (WJPF) — A Paducah man has been arrested for abusing a newborn.

Matthew Frizzell, 22, is charged with First Degree Criminal Abuse of a Child 12 or Under.

Paducah Police say they were called on Saturday after a 34-day-old infant was brought to an area hospital with severe injuries consistent with abuse. The child remains in critical condition.
