EL PASO, Tx. (WJPF) — Senator Dick Durbin will be traveling with Vice President Kamala Harris to the U.S.-Mexico border Friday.

They’ll be joined in El Paso by Alejandro Mayorkas, the director of the Department of Homeland Security.

This will be Harris’ first visit to the southern border since becoming Vice President. Durbin last travelled to the southern border in 2019.
