GRAND TOWER, Ill. (WJPF) — Grand Tower’s natural gas power-plant has shut down until further notice.

Rockland Capital, a Texas-based company that manages the plant, says the shutdown is due to significant mechanical failures at the plant.

About 15 union employees are now out of work.
