MT. VERNON, Ill. (WJPF) — Nobody was hurt when a bad landing gear caused a small plane to make an emergency landing Saturday night at Mt. Vernon.

According to authorities, plane’s front landing gear did not fully deploy.

The pilot was able to land the plane at the Mt. Vernon Outland Airport. It skidded across the runway before coming to a complete stop.
