MARION, Ill. (WJPF) — A Marion Police Officer was hurt in a three vehicle crash while responding to an emergency call Friday.
The vehicles collided around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of South Russell Street and West Cherry Street.
The officer was flown to a regional hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two people were taken to local hospitals. Two others refused medical treatment.
The crash is being investigated by the Illinois State Police.
